Lindsey Witz, LPC
You are the expert of your own life, and sometimes you may get stuck or struggle with something and aren’t sure how to manage it. In our work together, I provide a space for you to discover yourself wholly and recreate the best version of you.
I have experience working with a wide range of clients from adolescents to adults, and clients with acute mental health issues in a hospital, intensive outpatient, individual, and group settings. I am knowledgeable in working with clients in the following areas of struggle: grief & loss, athletes & sports performance, substance use, depression, anxiety, self-injurious behaviors, LGBTQ+, life transitions, trauma, existential crises, and even couples and family therapy.
As no one person is the same, no one approach will work for everyone. I utilize an integrative model pulling from different perspectives and practices to individualize therapy to best fit your needs. Some of the practices I utilize are Mindfulness-Based and Systemic approaches; an Integration of Eastern and Western philosophies; Narrative, Solution-Focused, Existential, Collaborative, CBT, DBT, Client-Centered, and Interpersonal Neurobiology.
Whether you are looking for solutions to the problems and challenges you face or you are wanting to do deep processing and transformative work, I’ll be here to help you flourish. The start of the journey towards healing, for some folks, is a place where you’re utterly overwhelmed and don’t know how to start. For others, you’re needing someone to go along with you on a journey that’s already begun — all are welcome here.
