EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing) therapy is an evidence-based treatment to reduce the symptoms of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and heal the root cause of the symptoms. It is an incredibly effective and efficient way of treating not only PTSD but also anxiety, panic attacks, depression, & grief. It is also a powerful way to get unstuck from negative beliefs about yourself holding you back - for example, you could be free from the "I'm not good enough" stories your mind repeats on a loop.

EMDR uses the brain's natural method of processing memories and information (like in REM sleep) to reduce the intensity of traumatic memory. Your brain is designed to recover and move past the past, but sometimes traumatic experiences happen that are so overwhelming they get stuck. So any little (or big) trigger can make your brain go right back into the fight, flight, or freeze as if it's happening all over again. EMDR heals the root cause and allows you to move forward with a new sense of peace and understanding.
